I looked in the chasis catalog tonight but can not determine if I need a standard water pump or an Avanti water pump for my 63 R1 Wagonaire. I am putting this wagon back together from a box of parts. The prior owner took it apart with the idea of sealing the engine and never got

Just purchased an Avanti water pump. It is in the mail. Would like to know if it will fit the pully arrangement on my 63 Hawk 289 2 bbl with factory air? My car has the factory 5 blade fan with fan clutch. Any body done this? jimmijim

in the mail today, I got... 3 qts. Redline synthetic power steering fluid 2 Mr. Gasket 1/4" heat dissipating carb spacers (the ones with alternating sheets of aluminum and gasket paper)

Does anyone know if the Avanti (II's) used the 30-spline axles in the Dana 44's? This is a 78 model (non posi) unit and I'm trying to find the posi unit and most of the new/remanufactured units all specify "30 spline" axles.

It seems as though this came up recently but I can't find it now. Where is the rear axle vent located on a type 44? The question came up recently and I would just as soon not have to crawl under the car to find it. MikeW
