I'm about to pick up an OHV Champ six with four speed trans. Any one have a

to keep the engine but have no use for the trans. I'm in Glendora CA. it's
free to any one who can use it. I have no idea of ...

glove box liner16 Sep 2006 17:05 GMT5
Just got a package from eBay seller "firstclassparts" - a glove box
liner for my '55 coupe.  Unlike the one I got from another vendor, this
one is the same material as original, and looks to be pretty close to
the right color too (instead of black flocked upholstery board.)  I'll ...

Hey guys...hows everyone doing.? I picked up a dash out of a Hawk, as
far as I can tell. I just wondered if someone could steer me in the
direction of pictures, so I can identify the year. I haven't taken a

Just got back from a Sat-Weds trip to Harrah's in Laughlin Nv. and
had a great time, as did the wife. (She's ready to move out there <g>)
Everyone there was much friendlier then the east coast casino's, the
suite was nicer, food was better and they had a.s kissing down to a ...
Oklahoma to Omaha16 Sep 2006 03:14 GMT3
Still don't have any real, "Plan." Tried to get released from my interim job
today, but looks like I'm going to be held to the contract... Friday. Since
I have no "plan," let's see if we can put one together:
I was going to spend this summer leisurely getting both vehicles prepared

Lifting Up a Wagon15 Sep 2006 07:03 GMT8
Has anyone had any experience lifting up a Studebaker wagon, like they
do with off road pick-ups?  I don't mean, jacking up so high you need
to have a ladder, but a mild lift to gain clearance. . .
Can it be done? How would one do that??
A legend retires15 Sep 2006 06:59 GMT23
I heard on the NPR news tonight that Schumacher will be retiring after
this season (having one his 90th race this weekend - the French GP).
Probably the greatest driver since Nuvolari.
Where's the Studebaker junkyard from the TV show?15 Sep 2006 04:40 GMT4
I was just watching a new episode of MythBusters on the Discovery
Channel tonight.  For one of their segments, they were going to buy an
old sports car to recreate a movie myth about ejector passenger seats.
They went to a "Studebaker junkyard" and quickly showed several Studes.

WTB Steering wheel 47-50 series13 Sep 2006 20:35 GMT1
Son Nick needs a steering wheel for his 48 Champion.
47-50 models should work Champion or Commander
Near as I can figure from the parts book, it's par number  1310-47
Who has a driver quality wheel?
