| Very OT - very long thread (or maybe a weapon to be used elsewhere.) | 03 Oct 2006 22:30 GMT | 1 |
I ran across a very long thread on anoher group. It's been going since New Years Eve.........2003! It started with a pun about a chicken in a belfrey and has had over 700 additions to make the pun even worse... or just longer.

| Fun Driving A Studebaker | 03 Oct 2006 18:30 GMT | 7 |
I and my wife drove our 62 GT Hawk to Church, then a restaurant for breakfast, and then to the store to get some milk this morning. We usually drive our 2000 Saturn, but since the clutch needs to be replaced tomorrow, we drove one of our Studebakers.

| Weds chat room | 03 Oct 2006 15:25 GMT | 2 |
I don't think many of us use the chat room on my web site on Weds anymore. I can save some money by dropping it if there is no objection.

| Voltage regulator--'63 Lark R1 | 03 Oct 2006 10:34 GMT | 5 |
My local Chevy dealer told me I needed a new battery in my Lark during a quickie oil change there about six weeks ago. I did think it had been cranking slower of late. About two weeks after the new battery, I noticed slow cranking again.

| First Trip to a International in my Studebaker | 03 Oct 2006 03:47 GMT | 2 |
What an exciting experience it was to caravan with other Stude's to Omaha! As usual my 1949 Commander was the oldest car in the group. We started in Indiana and drove to Burlington Iowa the first day. The second day we took US 34 across Iowa, as I knew, it was a hilly drive

| Florida State Meet | 03 Oct 2006 03:36 GMT | 4 |
Who is going to the FL State Meet? I am getting the 1954 Commander ready for the 200 mile trip. It will be the furthest I have ever driven it. Actually, I have never driven it on the interstate. The white walls that are on it are really nice looking, but according to

| Finally on line after Omaha | 03 Oct 2006 01:29 GMT | 1 |
Well folks, it is over. The Omaha International Meet was fantastic. Almost 350 vehicles on the field Thursday, with over 2/3 of them to be judged. Officer Dave took home honors for both Sheba and Goliath. Rick Courtier brought home a trophy for his truck. The entire week

| The Newsgroup Seems to have died. | 03 Oct 2006 00:34 GMT | 2 |
Due to an issue with ISP, I was not able to read any newsgroup posts, but was able to read the Studebaker Forums. When I got back here, I logged on to the NG, and the amounts of posts have dwindled to a few if any per day.

| Concours D' Elegance | 02 Oct 2006 19:56 GMT | 4 |
It's unfortunate the word "Concours" is misspelled as "Coucours" on the very attractive trophies for the 42d International Meet.
