The 1954 Commander ran hot on I95 on the way to the FL State Meet. About 30 minutes into the trip we stopped at a rest stop and it boiled over when parked.

| Studebaker Pickup VIN | 24 Oct 2006 05:10 GMT | 2 |
I was at the Fall Festival in Wilburton, Oklahoma this weekend. There was a car show on Saturday which included some nice Studes. I looked at a pickup I was told is a 1959. The number on the plate inside the cab is R5-111-964. Can anyone verify that this number is for a 1959

| FL State Meet | 24 Oct 2006 02:13 GMT | 10 |
Someone on the SDC forum typed a post about some of the cars at the state meet in Florida being vandalized. I wasn't there, but my grandparents were in the Avanti. Anyone have any details? I'm glad I DIDN'T go and take my truck now!

| gear oil leaks out faster than gasoline? | 23 Oct 2006 21:17 GMT | 3 |
Found two major leaks left to address on my '55 coupe - heater valve (and to a lesser extent, radiator and heater core) and steering box. The steering box I'd filled with gasoline and let sit for a week before installing it, and it held it without leaking a drop. (I figured it

Are there any seats from newer cars that will fit the coupe? Fronts are no problem but I need something that will fit the rear without too much modifying. Thanks.
