fan clearance in '55 C-K?22 Oct 2006 20:02 GMT13
Anyone running an R-engine in a '53-55 C-K?  I'm having an issue where

tried both standard and R3 motor mounts (a little better with the
standard ones, but not much) and here's the weird thing; the viscous

Lo and behold my generator on my '56 Pelham wagon is a Delco instead of
a Prestolite like it should be.  No wonder it only had one bolt on the
bracket!  It doesn't fit!  Anyone got a Prestolite generator that would
fit a '56 Studebaker Champion they want to sell?  Respond to ...

Hey, guys21 Oct 2006 19:19 GMT7

Build It Right... <link>21 Oct 2006 17:59 GMT2
We hear about a lot of shortcuts taken to put Stude's together...
(Yeah, yeah, I know it's a Chevy...but it looks like a lot of Stude projects
that I have seen..)
This should sober up anybody contemplating a quick fix, or a shortcut....

Beyond Expectations21 Oct 2006 04:26 GMT15
I know that every so often someone will give a shout out to a Studebaker
vendor or enthusiast who went beyond expectations to help them.  And I find
that I must also do the same.
I bought a '63 GT Hawk from JP and Studebob some 3 years ago.  No one local
