Can anyone ID McQuay-Norris Tie Rod Ends?17 Oct 2006 21:45 GMT3
I have a pair of McQuay-Norris tie rod ends part# ES-120.  I bought them at
a swap meet because "Studebaker" was scribbled on the box and they looked
close for my car.  Turns out they are bigger than the tie rod ends on my 41
Champion.  Anyone know what they fit?

Without Internet still at the house. OT17 Oct 2006 13:59 GMT19
I waited about trying to make up my mind on getting the internet at the
house and it was a good thing.
Saturday I was about ready to tackle the yard work when all of a sudden
heard and felt what I thought was a sonic boom.  Thinking that the shuttle

Saturday Follies (ot)17 Oct 2006 00:39 GMT10
The wife wanted to get off the property Saturday.
She 'invited' me to take her to the local Kiwanis county fair in Statesboro
(hint, hint)...

Cleaning Wire Wheel Covers16 Oct 2006 21:43 GMT6
Dear Heloise
Even with a lot of work and time, I see no way to get a buffer into all the
nooks and crannies of my stainless wire wheel covers.  Do you have a way to
clean these nasty covers and make them shine?
1964 Daytona Bucket Seats16 Oct 2006 19:07 GMT6
I'm thinking about buying a Daytona HT with a bench seat in it.  I
would like to install bucket seats if I buy it.  Are the GT Hawk bucket
seats the same as those used in the Daytona?  If they are the same,
does the swap require using the GT mounting hardware or is there
South Bend Swap Meet?16 Oct 2006 17:11 GMT3
Is there going to be a swap meet at South Bend next year? I believe I
would rather go to the swap meet than the Nationals. The last Nats. in
S.B  was to scattered out.
Bob40's Studebaker Garage Sale16 Oct 2006 16:26 GMT1
Today was Bob40's, (Bob Reining) Studebaker Garage Sale. Nice Fall
weather here in Minnesota made the event very enjoyable.  When I got
there about 11:30 Bob had already laid out his driveway with parts and
had tables set up in his garage.  Lots of stuff to peruse and a few
Move over Kroil/PB Blaster, I have Ballistol16 Oct 2006 16:20 GMT6
This would be off topic except that I am using it on Studebakers (and a
Packard).  No, I don't sell it or own stock in the company.
Ballistol could almost be called a miracle product because it can be used on
so many things.  I learned of it from the manager of an Ace Hardware ...
Adding Power Steering to a 59.16 Oct 2006 13:01 GMT2
I have a complete Power Steering setup from a 59 parts car that I thing
would make the drivability of my current project much better. I plan on
using the car for some daily driving and club functions. The car will
never be judged and I am not sure what will happen to it when I no
