To all you veterans out there, THANKS for your service to your country,
particular those still on active duty in this worldwide war on radical
Islamic terrorists in Iraq, Afghanistan and all of the other fronts in this

Is there a way to retrieve a old listing from ebay? On Topic10 Nov 2006 03:31 GMT3
Hey all you ebay and computer sharpies.
I bought a car on ebay back in the summer and I may need to sell it
now. I do not have any pictures other than what was on the listing. I
paid for it but I did not get any feed back from the seller. Is there a
What's it worth dept.10 Nov 2006 01:44 GMT3
I have three 289 cranks; one new, one polished std. and one that should
easily cut first over.  What is the "fair market value' of these
critters?  Local guy wants one and I don't know what to charge him.

And I thought Stude people were cheap...10 Nov 2006 00:54 GMT3

Lost Avanti found10 Nov 2006 00:50 GMT5
The shipping company found the Avanti in a storage yard and delivered it
to the new owner today. BTW, the older couple that bought it are looking
to buy more Studebakers as a investment. They are even looking at the
big truck I'm helping sell on ebay. I never dreamed Studebaker ...

There was a thread about these - to lower the motor, I think Sal said he
used Volvo mounts. Anyone have a part number or what year/model/engine
so I can get some from the FLAPS?

Packard Hawk for sale09 Nov 2006 13:05 GMT3
One of the owners of a Packard Hawk has informed me he has lost his storage
and will have to sell his Packard Hawk. It does have a non-original 259 in
it, but otherwise is in good shape and the price is very reasonable. He will
take less than $6000 for it.  I have put some ...
I think its time again. . .09 Nov 2006 12:51 GMT14
Something from the past, present and future. . .
After seeing a few post going south I just want to give a reminder to the
true meaning on the Newsgoup. (bah humbug is being spoken way to often) No
I'm not a monitor I just wanted to add a few things to list to update it. .

Still finding stuff missing08 Nov 2006 23:50 GMT1
A friend of mine pays me a few bucks a month to store a couple cars and
I take them out for a nice long ride sometimes if he hasn't had a
chance in a while.  I pulled his GT Hawk out last week and noticed that
it wouldn't turn sharp to the right but would turn fine to the left...I
Avanti steering and suspension parts08 Nov 2006 22:25 GMT2
On Ebay a guy has two auctions for used Avanti A-arms, steering linkage,
bellcrank, spindles with conversion kit brackets for newer brakes (might
be turner brakes), a steering box, the powersteering actuator. What do you
think would be a good, fair price for all of it? He lives in ...
