Thanks for the info on the drive shafts. I am going to pull the whole
assembly out of the car on Friday and check everything.  Although by
glancing at the book it looks as though it is in correctly.

I have a 1965 Daytona Sport Coupe with what I believe to be the
original 283 engine and a 2 barrell carb.   Someone has toldme it
looks like a more modern 305 but I haven't researched that yet.

I have my '63 R1 Daytona Skytop in a restoration shop having some
mechanical stuff done and one of the things I requested was that new
upper and lower control arm bushings be put in to alleviate the
squishing noise at low speeds and in getting in and out of the car.

The old house has finally sold.  Eight months on the market.  The deal
was too flaky for even ME to make up; the guy buying it got tossed in
prison for drug trafficking and lost his deposit wherein his wife
stepped in and took over the deal if we would credit the deposit to

My lift motor is spewing fluid when I raise my top.  I'v never
replaced the seals or whatever seals (o rings maybe).  Any suggestions
on where to find the o riings if that is what it takes?
