I have a '56 Hawk without the optional power front seat. Can this standard front bench seat be converted to a powered seat? What parts would need to be changed out and does anyone have the parts necessary to do this conversion. Also, is the power lever switch the same switch

I was looking in a parts catolog the other day and seen a transmission fluid temp. gage. Has anybody ever used one of these. I have always been puzzled in how the fluid goes thru the radiators hot water to cool off.

Just came across this new(?) listing -just wondering if anyone has any experience with this organization. Seems like it might be a viable alternative, however they do not have the shoppers (yet) like their competitor.

Anybody on the NG know where I might find some 1 1/2" wide leaf spring stock, preferably 1/4" thick or less? I want to add a helper leaf to each front spring on my '49 Crosley to get rid of the sag in front end. (take it away, Calvin)

Went through our first big Georgia thunderstorm last night. Man, the lightning was incredible. Saw a 5 bolt strike hit within a farm field of the house. Has 60 mph winds, 4" of rain in an hour, hail, power on and off..

The steering box in my Hawk is making a loud knocking noise when you turn the wheel and you can feel a "snap" coming through the steering wheel. I recon it's time has come...it was dry when I got the car a few years ago...bad seal...I packed it with CV grease and let it rip
