New Carburetor for 1962 Champ09 Dec 2006 01:33 GMT1
My 1962 Champ with 259 has been running roughly of late and as I
suspected a new carb kit will not resurrect the old two barrel. From
reading the news group in the past a 500 cfm Eddlebrock four barrel
would seem to be the replacement of choice. I wondered if there were

Because I had money to blow, I ordered that special T- shirt while in

Question for Studebaker Lovers - Why?08 Dec 2006 19:58 GMT8
If you've got a Studebaker call me tomorrow at 866-356-0789 and go on
the air at www.radiosandysprings.com and tell me why in the world you
love a car that looks like it's going in oppositte direction at the
same time.  8 AM EST and after that if you've got a question there is a
WCFB  4 barrel carburetor flooding on left turns.08 Dec 2006 14:52 GMT3
According to Studebaker Service Bulletin No. 317 for 1956, it states
the the top cover gasket may not be sealing.  This allows fuel to flood
the engine from around the choke passage hole and idle tube cross-over
passages. This results in a rich mixture, which may stall the engine.

'63 Avanti Windshield Fluid pump/spritzers???07 Dec 2006 23:53 GMT5
When I got my '63 Avanti (almost a year ago), I went out and got all
filters and fluids.  Everything went well until I could not find the
windshield fluid reservoir.  A little more search revealed the lack of
spritzers. Been hand wiping the windshield when the wipers cannot

which has flat, solid lifters...

2R truck values07 Dec 2006 21:30 GMT3
OK, I'll admit it I don't get the bidding on ebay. Look at this 2R truck
on ebay. It's a decent enough truck, but it's been bid to over twice
what I'd pay and I "should" know values. Just last year, I sold a show
