Locking up the shop and heard a tremedous BOOM that rattled the whole
shop.  Went outside and the people in the building down from me were
all out looking around also.  Got home and the 'ol lady said it was
just as loud there...ten miles away...it was the SHUTTLE coming in!

re: Honeycomb radiators21 Dec 2006 04:17 GMT10
I got an estimate from Chuck at American Honeycomb to have the radiator on a
customer's 27 Packard re-cored with the correct core. He stated that
depending on condition of tanks, etc., it would run $3500-
$4500.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stude Guy Needs Help20 Dec 2006 23:45 GMT1
Have a Stude friend in Cushing, OK that needs a rebuilt brake booster for
his '59 Hawk.  (Hydrovac/Hydravac?)  Or, a kit, if one is available?
He's not computer savvy.
Somebody hep him!
Frame lifts20 Dec 2006 16:31 GMT7
Has anyone ever had a negative experience with a Studebaker Hawk being
lifted with a frame lift rather than a wheel lift?  My mechanic is afraid
that lifting my 58 K Body Hawk will be problematic if he uses a frame lift.
