As in a previous post, I'm still having mouse problems.  Short of

little suckers.  But now I have to figure out what my electrical
problem is, and wethere it's mouse induced, or a normal malfunction.

Got some Studebaker work done today19 Dec 2006 04:14 GMT14
It was so mild here today that, after the lowly Redskins beat the Saints, I
went down to the barn and put a new water pump on my '53 Commander.  I was
done, cleaned up and put away and out of the shower in an hour and 45
minutes.  This included the four or five times I had to ...

'55 dashes18 Dec 2006 23:51 GMT2
If I were a betting man, I'd wager that in '55, Studebaker took the
'53-'54 Champion dash and put it in all the non-wraparound models.
Note the clock location.  I'd bet they just took out the previous hunk
of chrome (with the instruments in it) out and put in the other hunk of

Your view  on the  value   of  6-cylinder  GT Hawks ? (lengthy...)18 Dec 2006 03:11 GMT11
I  gues  a  6-cylinder  GT Hawk  is  a  pretty rare thing in US  whereas
especially  on the  continental  Europe many  cars  were fitted  with 6
cylinder + 3 speed OD  --  no power stereing  or  brakes.  There  are
continuously  several   cars  for  sale.  Owners  ofcourse  follow ...
What is my R2 worth?18 Dec 2006 02:50 GMT6
Friends,
I'm new to the Avanti business.  Via a relative who is a Studebaker fan, I

car.  After looking it over I realized WHY he never registered the
thing...although the body seems to be rock solid, EVERYTHING else was
