My car is a '63 Lark with a 259 v-8. My trans guy tells me the front and rear pumps in my FOM are both toast, and I need a torque converter too. I see that SI has the correct front pump for a '63, but the only rear pump is for a '56 - '57. Does anyone have a source for the proper ...

The driver side wheel wobble on the Avanti turns out not to be a bent axle as we expected, but at the brake drum. Close inspection revealed a spot on the assembly where the hub was about 1/16 inch separated from the inner edge of the drum, where you'd expect those surfaces to mate

My engine builder friend is telling me to get specs for torque values, end gaps on rings etc for rebuilding a Stude R1 289. I am sure it is in one of the books, but can't seem to find it. Where would I find such info? Thanks. bs
