AM Radio in 62 Daytona - thanks Lee DeLaBarre!06 Jan 2007 04:12 GMT2
Hey Lee - I took my time, followed the instructions to the letter, and
everything works!  Boy, there isn't allot of room in there for the radio
- but there was enough!
It was really something to punch a hole in the fender and realize there

TH 400 issue06 Jan 2007 00:37 GMT10
I knew everything was going to well on the Caddy swap, the
transmission has issues. It appears to be in forward gear, no matter
where I put the lever on the transmission and when I put it in reverse,
it just fights itself. I'll drop the pan and valve body tomorrow.
Check Valve05 Jan 2007 23:44 GMT3
Did any other make of car use the same type of brake booster check valve as a
1963 Avanti. It is the 3 notches type and twists to tighter.

The Evolution of Math05 Jan 2007 04:56 GMT7
Last week I purchased a burger and fries at McDonalds for $3.58.
The counter girl took my $4.00 and I pulled 8 cents from my pocket and
gave it to her. She stood there holding the nickel and 3 pennies. While
looking at the screen on her register, I sensed her
Some good luck for a change...05 Jan 2007 04:24 GMT2
Finally had a chance to start up the parts car I got off ebay recently
(thanks again Calvin!) and as suspected from the odometer and last tag,
the car must be an honest fifty thousand mile car.  The 289 sputtered
to life after a little coaxing and ran beautiful.  Carb is nasty, but

list a vehicle.  On parts, it looks like insertion fees will being going up

Daytona Front Fender Badges04 Jan 2007 20:20 GMT4
Are the front fender badges on a 1964 Daytona supposed to be a metal
finish or are they colored similar to the GT Hawk door emblems.  If
they are colored, can someone lead me to a picture of them?  The badges
on my Daytona are just a plain metal finish without any trace of color.

This would be a nice long term restoration project. I hope whoever gets
it brings it back to it's "Super Red".

Edelbrock 500CFM04 Jan 2007 04:53 GMT3
Anyone know what the original jet sizes are for the Edelbrock 500
CFM.   I have one with electric choke and another without, if it makes a
difference.
I just pulled mine out and can't read the heiroglyphics.  The rods
