We  worked the autoshow in the Convention Center four hours today.
Very enjoyable. Talked to some great people.
On the stand were a Bentley and a later Lagonda. An L29 Cord was in

Two Questions01 Jan 2007 18:59 GMT3
While servicing the oil pressure relief valve today on both Studes, I
was compairing the length of the springs.  One is 2.09 inches and the
other was 1.72 inches.  What is the correct length of a new, unused
spring for the 289 motor?  Is there a difference on the 259 motor?

I need to buy a new video camera. My old VHS RCA unit crapped out on

I'm finally working on the 64 Daytona I got from JP last summer. It was
having problems of intermittenly running dry on gas ( as seen through
the fuel filter). I've got the tank out - it doesn't look too bad,
though I'll clean and seal it since it's out. I pulled the fuel pump ...
63 R2 Lark 4 Speed01 Jan 2007 13:56 GMT9
Pulled the motor and transmission today.  Separated the engine from the
transmission.  Need to know how to remove the entire clutch assembly so
that I can put the engine on an engine stand.  Looks like the clutch
and springs are brand new, so if at all possibly I would like to ...

Caddy swap update01 Jan 2007 01:39 GMT6
The Caddy is installed, starts with the key, good oil pressure, no
water leaks and no Studebaker was harmed in the installation. I did have
to space the radiator out a inch, remove the battery box and locate the
battery forward and lower and will have to drill a few holes in the
