Would someone bring a decent C cab drivers side door latch to ebay ?
(The rotary latch that the handle attaches too )

My machine shop called me today and asked for the piston clearance for
a 289 I am having him bore.  No hipo job, just a standard .030
overbore and new pistons from one of our vendors.  The pistons came in
a no name box.  I recon that the .0015-.002 spec is correct?

According to my parts books and owner's manual my 41 Champion came from
South Bend with a tool kit and a jack.  I would like to put something like
the original kit together but I have no idea what the tools looked like.  I
also have two jacks but neither looks like they came with ...

I'm thinking of bringing some big stuff to York from the
attic.......Any interest?

   I just had a call from Jim Kranak.  He is home and doing very well with
a great attitude.  He has been able to get around with a walker and a
4-legged cane, although progress is slow.

Today, my 5 year old grandaughter saw my 1/43 scale 50 champion  and asked
if she could play with it. I said yes and she put it on the floor. Then she
said "grandpa, I don't know which way it is going "

Today's Wall St Jrnl reports exciting new female-oriented auto products.
First, a pedal pad from Mr. Gasket which keeps smooth soles from slipping

I received a call today from Barrett Jackson.  They have accepted the
1954 Commander Starliner for the Palm Beach Florida auction.  It will
be interesting to see what it does.

They certainly look the same to me!  Of course, to a Studebaker that
doesn't count for a lot.
