does anyone have a modern part number or detailed specs on a 4-speed
slip yoke.  Due to various automotive circumstances I just can't get at
to work on the '55 but I feel the urge to do something.  One of those
things that I can do from the comfort of my own home is order a

Does someone out there have a set of rear outside armrests for a 55 CK? I'm
not sure what years are the same, but the rears are just like the fronts but
without the hole to grab the door and slam it shut.

Okay, you guys who know the situation around DC give  me a heads up. I
am dreading  hitting the beltway. I will be coming up I95 from North
Carolina. I am thinking about getting on U.S. 301 just before the
Richmond bypass rejoins I-95 and taking that to where I can get on I93

They should of made more of those . 3.54 gears  twin traction   4-speeds
four barrel  or supercharged   reasonable gears for the street.  I'd liked
something like that  Did you see that plenum on that lark at that 2001
national meet.  What engine had that plenumn.  (R3)

Just read an interesting article in the Wall Street Journal. A Dealer
Group has met with the Big Three(sic) and told them the following:
a. Inventories are too high and on the lot too long,
b. manufacturers have to stop building cars and trucks to manufature

repair. Parts are for a 49 champion.  There used to be a gentleman

Now it seems you can take your peanut butter back to the store you
bought it for a refund.  I took mine back today to Publix and they
cheerfully refunded my $$.  I wonder if that was initiated by Con Agra
or the retailers.  There has also been a change of address for where
