OK, it took about a half hour to get the Cruiser I'm saving running

Speakers in Lark12 Mar 2007 14:41 GMT4
Any one know what size speakers will fit a 59 Lark on the rear parcel shelf
and also in the front? I don't really want to cut in to anything like the
doors so under dash speakers would be okay. The rear I could make another
piece of card or thin ply to cover and save the original ...
Drive your Studebaker12 Mar 2007 14:38 GMT14
I bought a 63 Cruiser today that had been sitting for 2-3 years. The
owner had bought it for 4K or so fixed it up a bit and drove it daily
for about a while until a short circuit burned a inch or so of the
wiring to the battery terminal on the ignition switch. He never got

Or someone in that line of work...
Once again, a bad part cometh my way.  Putting a new set of rings on a
new set of pistons today and the LAST ring broke before I even got it
completely loaded into the little ring installer tool.  I just stood

Good Weather Day12 Mar 2007 10:24 GMT2
Today was the first nice day we've had, up in the low to mid 60's (I know,
you SW guys don't know what that is) <G>
Anyhow, changed the oil in the 52, and the lawn tractor (not looking forward
to using it) decided that it was time to fire up both the 52 and 62 ragtops

Breaking Into Your Own Car12 Mar 2007 02:26 GMT74
I locked all my keys in my  4 door Lark. I was prepping it for painting and
have all the door handles off except for the drivers side front door. Is
there any way to unlock the doors by going thru the handle opening or some
other way. All the windows are up and tight.
Avanti Interior Vendors12 Mar 2007 02:07 GMT2
Where is the best place to get my black interior for #2382?  I see
that S.I. sells both the carpet and seat covers, but I have not been
completely satisfied with the fit of the carpet in my Lark.

Sometimes you can't get the car guy out of the house...
Wife was really struggling with the hard water stains in the master bath
standup shower.
It's a pita because it is all glass on 3 sides.
