can someone please post a pic or describe how the weatherstrip around
the doors in a C-body is to be installed, and what the profile of the
correct weatherstrip looks like?  I have one small water leak remaining,
and it is around the pass. door w/strip.  I suspect that a PO ...

Tulsa Zone Meet30 Apr 2007 15:14 GMT1
Got home a few hours ago but had to go straight to another commitment.
The TULSA Folks put on a great weekend.  The location was great and many
more people saw our cars, even if it was just in passing.  The Truckers
seemed to enjoy seeing a group even from I-44.
The local County wants me to remove my cars. Any help in dealing with this? Legal thoughts?30 Apr 2007 09:31 GMT13
I got a letter from the County today after basking in the glory of
finding 3 new cars at the Petaluma auction. Now I have 2 weeks to deal
with registration, and removal of cars on my property. I have some
really sucky neighbors. I just had them out of the barn while I was
Stude Auction Theft.....29 Apr 2007 18:24 GMT8
Well, we cleaned house at the Studebaker Auction. Cars were being
stolen for a couple hundred dollars, parts lots of even NOS parts were
being taken for pennies on the dollar. What can I say? Sometimes you
just happen to be in the right place at the right time. Some examples:
Attaching window rubbers29 Apr 2007 03:29 GMT1
I noticed that in the parts book that the weatherseal rubber that goes
between the front of the window and the A post on my hardtop has holes in it
for the screws.  Of course you can not adjust it against the window when the
weatherseal is in the retainer unless there is a hole ...
Congrats to Matt Burnette!29 Apr 2007 01:15 GMT5
On having his orange Scotsman PU featured on the rear cover of the new TW!
Great to see a young Stude guy [from Georgia] get recognized, and great to see a DRIVER Stude-- not just a concourse white-glove job-- featured!
The slick paper and color shots in the TW are fabulous, too!

Been looking around for an Avanti, wanted dependable, easy to service,
low mileage, nice car.
Got line on an 89 w/less than 50,000 mi. seems to be cherry. What
should I look for & pay (in y'alls opinion)
SASCO Sheet Metal Sale28 Apr 2007 02:30 GMT3
Did anyone else miss that the usual May sheet metal sale ad that SASCO
puts in Turning Wheels was absent this year?  Are they going to have
the sale in June?  I was planning on buy at least one set of front
sheet metal for a 64.

A day at the beach <G>27 Apr 2007 17:01 GMT5
Finally! A sunny, warm Spring day, T-shirt weather. I got to work in the shop for a spell
today. Finished assembly on my bead-blasting cabinet; cut two legs with ball casters off
an old TV stand, and bolted them to the left-side legs on the blaster cabinet. With
ball-bearing ...

Chevy I think . Also had another car on board. At the Denny's
Restaurant/Truck stop at the junction of highway 122 and I-35 at Clear
