Does the door panel upholstery on a CK normally fit between the kick plate
and the door sheet metal or does the door panel upholstery stop above the
kick plate lip?
Thanks

Never that easy26 Apr 2007 05:32 GMT4
I got to thinking about the "driveway brakes" on my Avanti on ebay. They
were dragging so bad and were barely even driveway brakes so I got to
thinking. (Never a good thing) I knew I had some 3/4 inch brake cups
that I bought for $3.00 for a box of 10, and a master cylinder kit ...
Low profile fan motor???25 Apr 2007 16:21 GMT8
Okay I may be making this up... but can anyone suggest a solution to my need
for a lower profile fan motor or a remote located fan?  I'm not 100% sure
but I think that with the engine where it is in my truck that I'm not going
to be able to use the stock heater core and fan motor ...
Hot stuff?25 Apr 2007 14:49 GMT12
The 289 I just went through is acting up.  30 over, R1 cam, stainless
valves, nothing too fancy.  Runs GREAT until it warms up for a while.
Yesterday after taking the car for a ride, I went to remove the air
cleaner and burned my finger on the wing nut...mucho cussing and
Double your gas mileage25 Apr 2007 13:12 GMT2
Has anybody come across this before?  It seems like one of those too
good to be true things.  Plus I think that it might have an adverse
effect on the rubber in a fuels system.
Check the link out and see what you think.
Weekend follies.25 Apr 2007 12:29 GMT2
Friday morning, I awoke to find a foot of fresh, wet snow on the ground, with deeper
drifts in spots. I was still getting over a cold, so I just gazed out the window at it
all.
Saturday, I felt a bit better, and went out and fired up the International tractor, and
am I being too picky?25 Apr 2007 03:47 GMT11
need an opinion on something here.  Basically I need to know if I'm
being too picky or if i have a legitimate complaint.  A couple months
ago I sent some pot metal parts for my '55 coupe to a fairly well known
chrome shop to be replated.  Cost was not really an object; finding a
Confused by Stude 2-wire fuel gauge system24 Apr 2007 20:14 GMT6
When I fixed my fuel tank the gas gauge stopped working and now is always
below empty.  The sender had been in really bad shape so I assumed that was
the problem (me and my assumptions).  Before dropping the tank I hooked up
the new sender to verify it is working and found that ...

Is  part  number 308072  (  1955 side grille)  for  a coupe  or  sedan.  My
Chassis  Catalog /  Body parts  catalogs   seems  to miss this section.
My  own side  grilles  are waiting  at the chrome plating  shop  (  not
good  cores  for  re-plating)  so  I can not  check from  my ...

It's been a long time since I've posted here. I could use a little
help on a couple of projects on my Speedster. Anyone know a good
mechanic who can do some work for me that is in the NJ or eastern Pa.

Broken seat back--what could have happened?23 Apr 2007 23:37 GMT5
I've got a problem with my 65 Cruiser.  It has the split bench
reclining from seat.  About 2 weeks ago, I leaned back in the seat and
it clicked back a notch, which made the seat lean back about 3
inches.  I couldn't get it to stay in the upright position.  I took
