Choke Knob to Intermittent Wiper Switch18 May 2007 04:16 GMT4
I'm going to be using an electric choke on my Chevy truck which will leave me with either a hole or unusable knob on the dash.  I found a cheap modification that allows you to install an intermittant wiper switch in that location.  Here's the link: http://www.persh ...

Gutted it! (ON topic)17 May 2007 13:11 GMT8
Well, I gave the Flxible refurb a rest for today, and got into a Studebaker.
I dragged a '58 Silver Hawk shell up from the lower 40 <G>, and commenced to strip it to
the tin. This is the "half-a-Hawk" I bought a few years ago at the McDonald auction in
Yakima, WA.

Hi, I have just come on board and noticed there are two pictures on
the group.  What are the rules re: posting a picture?  I posted two
pictures of an old Studebaker but so far have not seen them on the
group.
57/58 GH oil filler cap wanted16 May 2007 15:46 GMT2
Does anyone have a spare oil filler cap for a 57/58 supercharged Hawk.
This is an original engine with the filler tube to the left of the
blower and I believe it would have a half tubular extension that would
index it on the filler tube?
Here are the pics of an old Studebaker16 May 2007 03:21 GMT1
I first tried posting these pics but I guess my ISP would not let me.
As I said in my post reply I asked my granddaughter and she told me to
use this program.
Anyway, I'd like to know what year and model is this car?  I saw it

66 Cruiser15 May 2007 23:38 GMT8
First time post...go easy on me.
I have a 66 Cruiser with AT and the 230 c.i. six that has voltage
issues.  I have had the alternator rebuilt, and a new voltage
regulator installed, but now when I turn on the headlights, turn

Haven't seen that many in a while. The economy sucks here in FL and a
lot of people are selling their toys.

The lister describes the trunk panels as rusted out.  Must be a Californian.

Big or Little???  (Truck Wheel Cylinder Question)14 May 2007 04:47 GMT2
Something, (in the far recesses of my twisted mind), tells me that the
small diameter cylinders go on the front for '63/64 E7 trucks...  Is
this true?
I know on the cars, the larger bore goes in the front.
