I'm going to have to get some new mufflers. Mine sound great outside the
car but for long drives it's just too loud. I checked it with my decible
meter and it often is over 100 decibles in the car
What mufflers are a little quieter but still have a good sound like the

Finally got my hawk on road after she was on her 16" perch all winter!
I started last winter's project last November and finished 1:15 Am Saturday
morning. During that time I have managed to install:
1/4 drain line in the gas tank gas tank liner,NOS gas sender unit

Bob Shaw emailed me this morning - the site was down twice, first due
to a backhoe severing the lines while digging. He's trying to find out
what caused the 2nd problem.

Before anyone buys a Chrome Air Cleaner for your Studebaker, be
advised that if using a Stock Carb, you'll need an adaptor from Mister
Gasket and that will limit you to a 14" x 2 " Air Filter.  I didn't
know this and now have a spare 14" x 3" air cleaner.
