Tried posting this early today so I'm trying again with the update. . . .
Turn out so far not to be a ground problem or loose wire.
Check out all the wiring and it was all nice and tight.  So on Friday I was
going to go to the car show and the damn thing acted like the battery was
Semi- OT: 55 Gallon Barrell of Bondo04 May 2007 02:44 GMT2
I had to share this from the Chevy Truck Forum:
"Yes you heard correct.  I had a customer come in today and ask how much a
55 gallon barrel of Bondo would cost. He had an old truck he was going to
fix up. (He was dead serious about the bondo) "

One of the Packard Hawk forum members has been in contact with a vendor to
assess the possibility of getting the Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses
reproduced. I have talked to the vendor and it seems like he can arrange for
the reproduction if there is enough demand for the parts. ...
Cruiser Registry03 May 2007 20:59 GMT1
There was discussion on the SDC site about starting a registry for
1961-66 Cruisers.  I've taken on that project.  If you have a Cruiser
and want it listed on the registry, you can access the registry here:

After being idle for more than 30 years, my Speedster started and moved on
its own today.  Now all I gotta do is save my money so I can go back to the
body shop and get that other fender done.  :)

Saturday Follies.03 May 2007 07:00 GMT4
Another nice warm Spring day here. Went to a local farm auction, and came away
empty-handed. No Studebakers seen.
Once I got home from the auction sale, I went to work, resuming my welding job repairing a
body crossmember in the old Flxible motorcoach. Last two stints of doing that ...

Whats the deal with SASCO01 May 2007 05:51 GMT37
I heard through the grapevine that the city of South Bend wants  to
upgrade the over head sprinkler system in the building, or close the
company down.  I was talking to Dave Thurs.
Retirement Plan - OT01 May 2007 05:41 GMT1
If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would
now be worth $49.00.
With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1000.00.
With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.
