Hey everybody, I know the older cars don't ride like the newer cars. What can be done to my lark to give a less"bumpy ride"? The previous owner put new shocks on the front right before I got it. How about new ones for thr rear? Any other suggestions? Lou

I just got back from a Jersey Car Club Cruise Night that I belong to. Three Studebakers were there: 1964 Hawk, Beautiful; 1939 Commander, Beautiful-won a trophy; and my 57 Champion. Wow! A small local show with three Studebakers. I just had to tell everyone! Flathead

I read sometime ago on this group to run the ground wire on the six volt cars directly to the starter. I did that today on my friend Yaron's 1953 Commander. He needed a new battery anyway and he wanted to try another cable. We bought a 1 gauge cable 35 inches long at NAPA

I'm always looking for vintage test equipment on ebay because it's getting so cheap with all the computer crap on cars now. Last week it was a new vacuum gage, fuel pump tester for $5.00, but today was a big score. With this baby, I can do a printout on all the Studebaker
