A Smoother Ride19 Aug 2007 23:26 GMT14
Hey everybody, I know the older cars don't ride like the newer cars.
What can be done to my lark to give a less"bumpy ride"? The previous
owner put new shocks on the front right before I got it. How about new
ones for thr rear? Any other suggestions? Lou
Studebakers at NJ Car Cruise19 Aug 2007 20:21 GMT1
I just got back from a Jersey Car Club Cruise Night that I belong to.
Three Studebakers were there: 1964 Hawk, Beautiful; 1939 Commander,
Beautiful-won a trophy; and my 57 Champion. Wow! A small local show

OT,The Most Unpleasant Man On Ebay18 Aug 2007 19:29 GMT8
This has to be the most unpleasant man on Ebay to deal with,
Just look at what garbage he leaves people. Some people deserve it, but most

Thanks for the 6 Volt cranking tip18 Aug 2007 03:57 GMT8

Yaron's 1953 Commander. He needed a new battery anyway and he wanted
to try another cable. We bought a 1 gauge cable 35 inches long at NAPA

I'm always looking for vintage test equipment on ebay because it's
getting so cheap with all the computer crap on cars now. Last week it
was a new vacuum gage, fuel pump tester for $5.00, but today was a big

Mostly OT- nice local Martinsburg story16 Aug 2007 22:18 GMT1
This story appeared in our local paper yesterday- interesting man.  We have
met him, but knew his wife (deceased) and his daughter well.  One time when
his wife came in to our store the wife's '76 Avanti was sitting outside.
She was very interested and told us of her old neighbor ...
