I have a 1959 Lark 2 door wagon, V8 ( Chebby 454, orig a 1988 "HP"
block and was in my big red 1 ton suburban), AT (TH400 w/ RV level
shift kit) TT type rear (9" Ford, 3.00:1 gears with street/strip level
posi center section), disc brakes (all 4 wheels), sway bars (front &

I have a '51 2R5 (now equipped with a 289 and 3spd OD) and have been
wanting to swap out the origional rear end for a TT unit.
I want to keep the 5 X 5 inch bolt pattern so I can still run my stock
16" rims. I am not too concerned about keeping it 100% Studebaker if

Hi all, it appears that my project car, a 1964 Daytona hardtop may
have turned in to a parts car.  In the process of getting a title (the
seller lost the title over the years) a police officer said that the
VIN Plate should have been spot-welded to the body at the four corners

Has anyone in the group converted a Stude to a tilt bed?
The thing is I now have a second tractor now that I have my JD MC
with  backhoe and it works well  even though I built the hoe so I am
thinking about turning my 61 Toyota T cab project into a 1/2 yard

in my president 1956 i have a 289 engine , but i whant rebuilt and get off
it on the car , and pull a 259 for this summer ....but i whant to know, the
289 transmission is it fit on my 259 engine...

Hi Guys,  I'm running into a frustrating problem with the charging
system in my 56 Hawk & I wonder what ideas you guys may have.  The
generator stops charging intermittantly and is getting extremely hot,
first from the lower side then from the upper side.  After about a

This year we spent HUGE bucks having the 700R4 transmission
redone on Peter's Champ.  On the way back from South Bend we
experienced some problems with lock up.  We had to rock the
truck to get the transmission out of park.  Peter called the
