Thanks to those here who offered tech advice, today I finally had American Racing imitation Halibrand (TorqThrust D) wheels, and Firestone PV41 tires, mounted. Took about a month. They look right, and SEEM to clear OK in hard cornering (min. clearance to anything is about 1-1/4" ...

One of our Potomac Chapter members, Murray Welch, attended the Dulles Day Plane Pull Car Show (Dulles Airport, Washington, DC). His '50 Champion sedan was the only Studebaker there, BUT, he got the Peoples' Choice award/big trophy.
