Caesar, my new R2 SuperHawk just arrived, in the condition I expected. It is another restoration done by a general collision shop. with lots of stuff done wrong. The car had some rust in the floors and they did a great job with those, new Classic floors, torque boxes, the works.

Has anyone done a conversion for the OHV six distributor? Is there a Pertronix or equivalent conversion? Any one have the current part numbers for cap, rotor, condenser, points, etc...? Also what color did the original engine come in? What year, what color? Was

Well, got home late last night with a '64 Cruiser I bought in Vancouver. Got it off the trailer today, and made an effort to unstick the engine. Removed all the spark plugs, which showed no signs of rust, and used a fogging gun to blow a blend of ATF and Varsol into each cylinder. ...

I got the Packard Hawk up on the lift today with the new owner present, and saw that I will have to replace all of the sub-floor boxes and floor braces. I hope to do it w/o ruining the excellent door fit, so could use advice from some of you experts who have done the procedure.
