Slant 6 Stude truck?10 Oct 2007 20:36 GMT10
I was given a good pre 1971 slant 6 225 with 727 auto.  Anybody ever
put one of these into a 62 Champ?   They are solid engines with forged
cranks.   This Champ was gutted for an SBC.   I just want a Gofer
truck.  Rear end is a 4.27

The Last Convertable10 Oct 2007 16:44 GMT2
Was looking at some old news clips and one of them kept right on going
right into what looks like a cheesy made for TV movie called "The Last
Convertible", which is a beautiful Packard and there are quite a few
shots both still and moving of the Packard.
'55 studebaker president on Ebay10 Oct 2007 13:51 GMT7
I'm new to studebakers, and Sal told me I should talk to J Poulis.
Thru the miracle of what we call the internet, I found this website.
I would like your opinion on this studebaker I found on Ebay.

As some of you know I have been on again/off again about selling my Lark.
Well I'm on again.

Good Studebaker day.09 Oct 2007 00:56 GMT4
Woo-Hoo!
Actually did some Studebaker stuff today. A nice, sunny day here in my part of Alberta,
and quite warm despite the steady south wind.
Aired up a flat tire on the '53 Champion coupe I got at Mannville, AB. Installed a
Need an answer ASAP09 Oct 2007 00:44 GMT2
Hello. My '64 R1 Daytona is down at the exhaust shop and I am unsure
of what kind of chrome tips should be put on the new exhaust. There
was some confusion, as I thought they were rolled from the factory -so
I asked for rolled. But the shop made a mistake and installed slashed.
Nimesh R3 pics and video08 Oct 2007 14:09 GMT1
Nimesh sent me some pics and a short video if his newly completed R3
Avanti project for a customer. Worth a look. His work is really top-
notch, to say the least.

Fired the GT hawk today08 Oct 2007 03:24 GMT3
Fired the R2 project today and she fired right up. Jeff and me looked it
over, tightened a couple of weeping fitting and ran it for maybe half
hour total. Zero surprises, wheels go round and round on jack stands,
life is good.(The yellow valve covers are on while waiting for the ...
holding my breath07 Oct 2007 14:12 GMT1
The valve covers and air cleaner on my '55 President State Coupe looked
awful.  Noone seemed to know what color gold they should be.  I looked at
the many pictures I have saved on my hard drive and decided to take a shot.
Yesterday, I dropped them off at the  powder coater and ...
Another good studebaker day07 Oct 2007 11:43 GMT1
Day before yesterday, I went and bought a front speaker for the 61.  Put
it in, put the radio back in, plugged everything together and got
beautiful single speaker sound when the tubes warmed up!  Then I broke
out the new gasket for the windshield that I got from SASCO, checked ...
Lost a hubcap07 Oct 2007 05:49 GMT8
And couldn't find it in a half-hour search.
Who's got a nice (cheap) one for a 62 cruiser?
White squares, red center, white "S"?
Actually, I could paint one, but prefer the squares to at least be already done!
Pickup 49-5407 Oct 2007 02:58 GMT1
I located a C-Cab R2 pickup that has been disassembled and left outside. No
major rust through, just surface rust. What are the doors, front fenders,
hood and tailgate worth?

Pikes Peak Zonemeet pics06 Oct 2007 16:17 GMT1
I noticed no one has put up any pics from the Pikes Peak Zone meet in La
Junta Colorado. If you didn't go you missed it, some really nice friendly
folk. First night we registered and paraded out to the Kishare Indian
museum. Had a cowboy supper, provided by the Tractor club ...
