I was given a good pre 1971 slant 6 225 with 727 auto.  Anybody ever
put one of these into a 62 Champ?   They are solid engines with forged
cranks.   This Champ was gutted for an SBC.   I just want a Gofer
truck.  Rear end is a 4.27

Was looking at some old news clips and one of them kept right on going
right into what looks like a cheesy made for TV movie called "The Last

Hello. My '64 R1 Daytona is down at the exhaust shop and I am unsure
of what kind of chrome tips should be put on the new exhaust. There
was some confusion, as I thought they were rolled from the factory -so
I asked for rolled. But the shop made a mistake and installed slashed.

Nimesh sent me some pics and a short video if his newly completed R3
Avanti project for a customer. Worth a look. His work is really top-
notch, to say the least.

Fired the R2 project today and she fired right up. Jeff and me looked it
over, tightened a couple of weeping fitting and ran it for maybe half
hour total. Zero surprises, wheels go round and round on jack stands,

I located a C-Cab R2 pickup that has been disassembled and left outside. No
major rust through, just surface rust. What are the doors, front fenders,
hood and tailgate worth?
