For years I have carried a small pocket knife.  I usually end up
breaking a blade or loosing the thing somehow after a while.  I lost
one recently and after looking for a few days gave up and went to good
'ol Wally World to buy another.  I have been buying Schrade knives for

Advice from the hard cores wanted..31 Dec 2007 01:22 GMT26
Seems the clown who just dumped a neutral into my feedback without
contacting me in any way is now posting on the forum.  I sent him a
very sharp (well, maybe evn a tad nasty) email and posted on the forum
for him to check his email BEFORE I unload on the guy.  I am quite

oil filter30 Dec 2007 12:03 GMT1
My Dad used a strange looking oil filter on his '56 Power Hawk.  The outside
material looked like a sock, like ribbed cotton.  Does anyone know anything
about them?  Were they effective?  Who made them?
BTW, Dad put 176,000 on that car.  He was a salesman on the road.  He traded

Just received a CD with photos of cars in Columbia.  Its mind boggling how
rust free they are and the shape they are in.  Among them was a GT Hawk,
several Stude trucks, some '55, '56, and '56 Chevy convertibles, a '39 and a
'40 Ford convertible, a number of Chevy and Ford 2 door ...

Olds Sway Bar/ Disk Brakes28 Dec 2007 17:49 GMT4
As I mentioned earlier, I am racing in La Carrera this year.  We have
a '57 Olds 88 sedan that has run the race twice before.
This car has been running the original drum brakes but we acquired a
spare set of spindles that are being converted to accept calipers.

New ebay tax26 Dec 2007 01:35 GMT29
The 2008 proposed budget contains a provision that would require
ebay to report to the IRS any seller that does $5000 in gross sales in
one year. Ebay is fighting it since it does not apply to any other
private sales, auctions, Craig's list and the like. If it passes, be
