Gas here just went up the other day to $1.239 per liter (that's $4.69 per US
gallon or $5.63 per Imperial gallon).  WTF?!?   If the Auto industry had
kept up with progress and R&D like the Computer industry has we would all be
driving 500 HP cars that get 80 MPG at 80 mPH.  But ...

I received an email from a friend of mine who is into Desoto and
Chrysler products. He told me he visited a Studebaker fan in West
Virginia and most of his collection of cars were orphan brands.  He

The 5th Annual event has concluded, and there committee would like to thank
everyone who participated!
There were approximately 50 Studes/Avantis on site, and about 40 went thru
judging.

Is there a standard interchange for V8 valve stem seals?
I tried to buy some locally but to no avail.  I thought that early
Chebby 282/305 small blocks would have the same seals.
