Guys, I don't own nor have I ever owned a Studebacker. Hell, no one in my

have been my favorite car manufacturer.
Now retired, I have the time do some reading, any recommendations as to the

1955 Sedan Battery - 12 Volt Conversion09 Oct 2008 11:34 GMT2
The battery in my '55 sedan is shot. Because of the smallish battery
box, I'm looking for a suitable 12 volt application that will fit.
The current battery fits OK but is is small in the sense that I have to
use a section of a 2x6 at the base to raise it to the proper height.

What is the best plug out there for a bone stock 259 Studebaker with a
4-bbl?  This cat is a 67,000 mile original survivor that runs great.

OCF- alive and well03 Oct 2008 03:13 GMT2
For you long-time NGers who remember Old Car Fart's "observations", be
advised that he is still around and doing pretty well.  I ran into him today
