Ihave a 62 t cab. It is fairly hard to steer going slow below 10 mph
steers fairly easly going backwards almost palm it with one hand non
studebaker people tell me to put king pins in it. I don't  completly
disagree but don't think it will fix it. Jack up the center of axel

Ok everyone, get your thinking caps on. I had a 55 Stude when I was 16
and sold it when I was 30. In a letter to Studebaker in the 70's, I
described the car as a 1955 Studebaker Speedster Golden Hawk.
I got a nice letter back saying Studebaker never made a '55 Golden

After over eight years of being a "corner car" and being bumped by
paying jobs, my little 63 got insurance and a tag yesterday.  I took
it for a short ride and will be working the bugs out for a while.
This car has twenty thousand miles on it, it had seveteen when I got

has anyone tried to put a 79 or older ford 1]2 ton 2wd steering box on
a stude v8 pickup.  It's the only thing that i acn find that measures
close. thanks  this truck is a 62

Got my Turning Wheels this week and lo and behold, SASCO has T86 OD
trannys on sale...  A few months ago I called Dennis to see if he had
any left (he had advertised them before) and he said no, he didn't..
I took THREE trannys apart and made one good one...spent a lot of time

Does anybody have a set of Chrome hubcaps for a 63 1/2 ton pickup they would
be willing to turn lose of?
I have a set of painted ones I could exchange or apply towards the chrome
ones.. they wouldn't have to be NOS.  Just decent for everyday use..
