| Removing interior panels | 23 May 2004 15:37 GMT | 1 |
I'm trying to remove the interior panel around the rear quarter window in a 2003 Forester. This is the window in the trunk area. I found the screws underneath the hook and underneath the clip for the cargo cover. It appears that the only things holding the panel down are some ...

My wife has a 2002 Outback, 4 cyl. with about 27K miles that she bought new. It has been a very good car and she loves it. For the past two thousand miles, the car has developed a serious power loss when accelerating normally from a traffic light. The engine acts as if it is rapidly ...

| Flat tire at 600 miles-Subaru Outback Wagon? | 22 May 2004 07:29 GMT | 4 |
Just 8 days after my wife purchased a new 2004 Outback Wagon, I was driving it about 55-60MPH in the left lane of the Baltimore Beltway. I suddenly felt and heard a flat tire (left front). Since it was heavy Mother's Day traffic and there was no left shoulder, I had to continue ...

After a lot of online looking and local calling I found a NH dealer who will go 20 percent off list on parts, at least for the $200+ of parts I needed for a timing belt etc etc. IstSubaruParts is 25% but shipping makes about the difference for us up here in the North Woods...

| Forester clutch | 21 May 2004 02:45 GMT | 1 |
My '01 Forester with about 72,000 miles on it has got something wankie with its clutch. It's a manual 5 speed that feels like there is a power loss when I am cruising at a steady speed and give it gas but not so much to change gears. I watch the tach RPM's drop before it picks up ...
