'98 Outback Sport: Electronic Door Lock Problem10 May 2004 10:25 GMT3
The electronic door locks on my 1998 Subaru Outback Sport wagon have decided to
go flaky in the last couple of weeks.  Sometimes they work; sometimes they work
partially; sometimes they don't work at all and I have to lock all the doors by
hand.  That isn't a safety risk, but it is ...

Just got a 2004 Outback Sedan LTD.  Below each doors is back plastic.  I've

to hide the scratches and to avoid scratching it again?

Subaru Tire Recommendation Needed08 May 2004 15:25 GMT13
I have a 1997 Subaru Outback that still have the original Michelin XW4 Tires
with a 110,000 miles on them.  Here is the amazing part... the tread is only
55% worn.  Due to the age and miles on these tires, I have decided to
replace them.   The only reason I am not considering the ...

How long should I wait before waxing?

months, 6 months and up to a year.

Tires: Dunlop SP Sport A2 declared crappy by the masses08 May 2004 02:24 GMT1
Wow...seems I wasn't the only person to have a Very Bad experience
with the Dunlop Sport A2.  The theme of "Great when new, noisy and
oval shortly thereafter" seems to ring consistently.
You'll have to specify your car make, year and model from the main page:

LL Bean H6 Problems....Any Ideas?07 May 2004 15:04 GMT19
I have a 2001 LL Bean Outback H6 I have been having annoying problems with
for about the last couple of years. The dealer has been less than
forthcoming with helping with these issues. I don't know if they truly
cannot fix these things (if this is the case then their mechanics suck)
OBW brake pad change? Tips? Complexity?07 May 2004 06:05 GMT11
As I approach 60k mi on my 2001 Outback Wagon, my tire installer told
me that I'm in need of a front pad change.  I told him that surprised
me since I hadn't heard the audible indicators.  He informed me "these
pads don't have any."  Evidently I need to act fast as there isn't
