Best/most economical way to get a bike rack on an an OBW?01 Jul 2004 00:44 GMT12
Greetings,
I've grown tired of my trunk mount bike rack that requires 4 straps to
affix, and then renders my hatch inaccessible.  I'd like to pursue a
hitch mount or roof mount bike rack.  I'm leading toward a hitch mount

Is it a big job to install the original cruise control? Anybody done
that? What about the costs for parts?

Shop Manuals30 Jun 2004 00:43 GMT16
A while ago I bought the Shop manuals on CD off someone on eBay.
The manuals and diagrams come in .PDF format (seem to be scanned - therefore not
searchable) broken into a multitude of files with filenames that do not give you
a cue as to the content.

If yes, which wire should I connect the blue lead from the new Pioneer
head unit to?

My wife's 2000 RS 2.5 Impreza has an automatic transmission and lately has
been taking longer to engage into drive when moving the gear selector from
park/neutral to drive.  I called the dealership to make an appointment, but
their initial response was that up to 5 seconds was ...
'96 5 Speed Center Differential Problems 29 Jun 2004 20:35 GMT6
Hi all and thanks for reading.
I have a 96 2.2 AWD Legacy Wagon with a 5 speed which means it uses the
viscous coupled center differential.
Only in the last few months, I have been experiencing the '4WD Scrub'
gas mileage on  '04 models29 Jun 2004 15:23 GMT2
Ok - so it looks like most models max out at 30mpg highway.  Is there
any way to tune them or outfit 'em that improves gas mileage?
I'd love to get another Subie, but I need gas mileage in the mid 30s at
the very least.

Yesterday my wife was driving her 2004 Forester on the Interstate and had a
sudden blowout of  one of the stock Yokohama tires.  Her car has only 5k on
it.  The tire just suddenly shredded for no obvious reason.  She was in the
fast lane and barely made it over against the inside ...
COBB ECU Re-mapping29 Jun 2004 06:08 GMT3

to see whether it was worth the cost for the upgrade.  Also I would ...
What's up with the 2005 pricing structure?29 Jun 2004 04:27 GMT28
Was thinking about trading in my '02 H6 Sedan for a '05 wagon until I saw
the prices. What is Subaru
smoking? $30K for a 4 cylinder wagon? Come on!! They're just slightly less
then a STi.

I had a garage recently replace the transmission fluid in my subaru

filter and an automatic clutch at the rear end to distribute power
