I have a 2000 Outback and one of my fog lights has burned out.. How do I get at the bulb to replace it - Do I go from the front and remove the screws visible after removing the plastic grill or do I get at it from behind (remove the mud guard) ?

Just bought a 99 Forester S-Turbo with automatic. Does it allready have the wiring for the original cruise control? Is it a big job to install the original cruise control? Anybody done that? What about the costs for parts?

A while ago I bought the Shop manuals on CD off someone on eBay. The manuals and diagrams come in .PDF format (seem to be scanned - therefore not searchable) broken into a multitude of files with filenames that do not give you a cue as to the content.

Ok - so it looks like most models max out at 30mpg highway. Is there any way to tune them or outfit 'em that improves gas mileage? I'd love to get another Subie, but I need gas mileage in the mid 30s at the very least.

I had a garage recently replace the transmission fluid in my subaru legacy. The garage also added LubeGard black (friction modifier. I believe the transmission consists of a torque converter, gears, pump, filter and an automatic clutch at the rear end to distribute power
