Today I learnt that my Subaru 2000 Legacy wagon, with 49,000 miles on it, needs front brakes and the rear brakes need to be refaced. Is this a bit early? My previous two Subarus (1984 GL10 and 1992 Legacy) went to 85K+ miles without brake problems. I am not driving any differently!
