| H6 recall | 12 Jun 2004 17:03 GMT | 14 |
Yesterday I got a recall notice in the mail for my H6 Outback. It seems that the accelerator and/or cruise control cable can pop out of its channel and cause enough binding in the cable so that the engine won't back down when the foot is lifted off the accelerator.

| 95 Legecy, water pump/thermostat | 12 Jun 2004 04:59 GMT | 1 |
I just replaced the front seals and waterpump. It acts like the water pump is not turning. I get no blowing hot air inside the car. I put in a new thermostat, then tried the old one. Same problem with both. If I remove the bleeder screw from the radiator just steam comes out. ...

| 2.5L oil recomendations | 12 Jun 2004 02:49 GMT | 6 |
What does Subaru of Australia recommend for a 2.5L non turbo Subaru engine. In the USA my book specifies 5w30 for temp of 100 F and lower and 10w30 for temps from ~50 to over 100 degrees F. Some of us feel that the CARF law concerning gas mileage may be influencing manufactures to ...

| 98 Forester Belts | 11 Jun 2004 23:28 GMT | 3 |
I want to change my belts on my 1998 Forester. I've changed belts before years ago on older (1970's) cars when you had room under the hood but not on newer cars. Can anyone tell me if I may have a problem doing it myself? or should I just spend the money at the

| '02 Impreza tail light wiring | 11 Jun 2004 16:19 GMT | 4 |
I have a '02 WRX wagon that I'm installing a hitch and wiring harness to. The hitch is in, and the wiring hookups are done except for one thing. In the taillight assembly, there are three wires that go to the single bulb that is used for rear facing tail lights (dim) and the ...

| Forester Tranny Prob? | 11 Jun 2004 01:17 GMT | 2 |
I have a 2001 Forester (automatic transmission) and lately have noticed the following problem. In the morning, as I first leave the house, the car shifts fine between 1st and 2nd gears, but from 2nd to 3rd, it's really harsh. It kind of stays in 2nd gear a bit too long, then ...

| WRX Wagon Questions... | 10 Jun 2004 15:32 GMT | 17 |
Considering the possible trade-up from a Forester to a new WRX Sport Wagon, and have a few questions: 1. Does the WRX's Turbo require Premium fuel? (probably a dumb question, but I wanted to make sure...)

| Outback wagon = Outback Legac wagon? | 08 Jun 2004 23:14 GMT | 6 |
I'm looking at picking up an '05 Outback 2.5i wagon (if there is such a thing). The confusion comes in the trim names. The Subaru website shows such a model. When you go to a dealer, they only have Outback Legacy Wagons.

Five speed Southern California car. Asking price is $1550 (!!!) but owner claims to have put in a lot of work and has receipts to show. Odometer reads 128,000. Three owners -- original, long-term second owner and current owner. I know nothing about these cars except that

| Tuning my 2002 WRX | 08 Jun 2004 19:07 GMT | 3 |
Hey everyone, I am thinking about tuning up my WRX (2002). I was wondering where I should start if the ultimate goal is to add some horsepower to the car. I hear all these things about computer chips, intakes, exhaust, headers, and so forth.
