I just got an '04 Outback and am thinking about installing a
functional air scoop on the hood. I've read that some WRX scoops with
fit on Outback hoods. Is this correct, or does anyone know where I
could be Outback specific scoops or has done this before??

I have a 2004 2.5XS Forester. This morning I started up as per normal. The
vehicle had been sitting since Friday (long weekend). Upon starting I heard
a dreadful slap type of noise... so loud I immediately shut off the engine.
Upon restart the noise was less severe.

When the A/C is on fan speed 1 and I am idling (can only actually tell
when idling), the A/C cyles on for about 5 seconds then off for about 5
seconds repeatedly. Turning the fan speed up to 2 lessens the frequency of
