WRX Manual16 Aug 2004 21:35 GMT1
I lost all my bookmarks and files when my PC took a dookie last night. Mr.
Steve had a nice accumulation of files on his server, including the 2002 WRX
manual.  Could I get that URL again?
Thx,
Oil in coolant16 Aug 2004 17:29 GMT2
Looking for any ideas on this prior to taking it to dealer. Have a '97
Legacy GT (2.5 engine with manual trans.). 142k miles on the vehicle,
mostly highway driving. Noticed oil in the coolant tank this weekend. No
idiot lights or CEL on. All routine maintenance done as scheduled ...

dismounted radiator, they said the leak must be between the ...

subaru reliability15 Aug 2004 19:22 GMT9
I am considering buying a used (around '99) Subaru wagon.  The Forester,
Impreza, or Legacy.  They seem quite popular here (Sacramento, Northern
California).  And I do like them.
Is there any pattern of mechnical and electrical failures that I should
gas gauge15 Aug 2004 16:17 GMT1
I have a 1995 Subaru Legacy.  The gas gauge sometimes works and sometimes

Info Wanted: 2005 L.L.Bean Outback15 Aug 2004 01:42 GMT2
I lost my wonderful 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback, Limited Edition, 30th
Anniversary Model to Hurricane Eric while vacationing on Ocracoke.
Only 40,300 miles and going strong.  Loved that car. So, I'm going to
visit area dealers next week to check out the new L.L.Bean model, and
Regular gas in WRX14 Aug 2004 23:02 GMT46
I have a 2002 WRX that I have been religious about putting premium in.
My brother-in-law scoffed at the idea of "requiring" premium and said
that the engine would run just fine on any grade. Whereas he
acknowledges that it would be better to use premium if we intend to keep
Audio Options 2004 Forrester XT14 Aug 2004 22:37 GMT7
I want to upgrade the head unit and speakers on my 2004 Forrester XT.
I was looking at crutchfield.com for speaker options but it makes no mention
of possible replacements for the rear door speakers. Are the rear door
speakers also 6.5" ? Has anybody upgraded their factory stereo to ...
Tool Storage Organizer14 Aug 2004 13:10 GMT1
Does any one know where I could buy a new tool organizer that sits in
the back up above the spare tyre? I have an '04 Outback, but I like
the '99 style organizers better, I think they have more room and are
built better. I haven't been able to find anything on the Subaru parts
Mirror mirror...14 Aug 2004 08:07 GMT2
I just lost the second side door mirror in a couple of months.
Many manufacturers now seem to think the rigid mirrors are a great way to make
money off their unluckier customers by selling them replacement mirrors.
To my dismay the '98 Subaru GT wagon has no swiveling mirrors but ...

Hail damage14 Aug 2004 03:40 GMT10
Hi everyone, with the current Liberty/Legacy having alluminium bonnet and
hood, will this be more prone to hail damage than previous models without
the alluminium. How strong is alluminium?
