Ok, I need some advice. I 've got a '95 Legacy with the 2.2L engine, and a
couple weeks back, as I was driving along, the CEL came on. I detected
nothing else amiss, and when I got it home, I shut it down and started it up
again, and it fired right up as usual. The next day, however ...

My car has 4 speed automatic with manual sport (aka Tiptronics on BMW). I
read manual more then once and still can't understand one part:
1. If transmission in manual mode in default position of 1, and if I floor
the gas pedal, will transmission shift itself to the correct gear

I am considering putting some Borla headers on my Y2K Outback. I do a
lot of highway driving though the Oregon and Idaho and would like to
have a little more power when pulling some of the grades. Have any of
you put the Borla headers on your car? If so what was the real impact

I am thinking about putting a set of VentShades on my '03 Baja. I had
a set on my '95 Mitsubishi Montero and I found them very useful.
However, it's a little hard to find a set that fits my vehicle.
Anyone who has installed them on his/her Subaru, please let me know

I will try to bleed my brake system soon. I read in some manual that I
should do it with engine running, and other manual doesn't specify that
requirement. Anyone know the right procedure? That's for an 1999 Impreza TS.

I have seen MANY of these on fire the past few months, and boy do they burn
hot!
Saw one on the offramp of the freeway, rolling to a stop with smoke pouring
out of the airscoop. Within minutes the engine compartment was fully
