| 2001 legacy wgn roof gutters | 16 Sep 2004 15:18 GMT | 1 |
Wondering if the roof gutters are supposed to drain down through the molding on the front pillar? Asking because I get water dumped on the drivers side window when I first drive the car after a rain and then brake. Dosn't do it as much on the passenger side. Real PITA if the ...

| Best roof rack for WRX | 16 Sep 2004 11:25 GMT | 2 |
What is the best roof rack to get for a '02 WRX. I'll probably be carrying snowboards, fishing poles, and kayaks. I don't mind changing modules if I have to at some point.

| 97 Outback sport fuel filter. | 16 Sep 2004 08:12 GMT | 3 |
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the fuel filter has to be replaced or, like my old Toyota it can be opened and washed and cleaned. Just seems as though the dealers/manufacturer are laughing all the way to the bank with parts that can't be cleaned and reused.

| brakes sticking on 93 impreza | 16 Sep 2004 06:21 GMT | 5 |
The brakes are sticking on my 93 impreza. The problem is intermittent: every once in a while stopped at a stop sign or a light, I will attempt to go and the brakes will stick and prevent the car from moving.

| WRX hates Reverse | 15 Sep 2004 08:30 GMT | 21 |
My '05 WRX (stateside model) has just over 2,500 miles on it; about 1.5 months old. Recently I've noticed that it refuses to go into reverse right away when started up, even if warm (then again, the only real time I use Reverse is after starting up and backing out of the drive).

| 2001 Forester -- lousy window gaskets? | 15 Sep 2004 07:42 GMT | 5 |
We've loved our '01 Forester S since we bought it, but we've always been a bit disappointed at the noise. It's not a quiet car. One of the more annoying parts of the noise is the wind noise. More than once I've checked the windows because I was sure they

| Check Engine Light - I am now ignoring it | 15 Sep 2004 07:37 GMT | 10 |
The check engine light on my 2002 OBW 6 cyl is starting to turn into a boy who cried wolf. First time it went on, I took it to the dealer and wasted 3 hours. They never told me what the trouble codes were and re-set the codes so the light went out. The second time it went on, I ...

| Subaru parts | 15 Sep 2004 07:32 GMT | 1 |
I had posted a couple of questions to this newsgroup earlier about a problem with my 97 Outback Sport. Seems most likely the fuel filter is at fault. Now, I scurry down to my local automotive store (ok, Canadian Tire) and found they had just run out. I also noticed the price ...

| Test drove a Forester today! | 15 Sep 2004 02:02 GMT | 5 |
My wife and I test drove a 2005 LL Bean Edition Forester today. We absolutely loved it! What a great ride. Dealer let us drive by ourselves so we took it back to our house to see how it looked in our garage. Looked perfect! LOL

| Drain plug washer... | 14 Sep 2004 19:39 GMT | 26 |
So does everyone replace this washer every single oil change? Anyone have any other options? This is on a 02 Outback. Is the Subaru filter really any better? It seems to be about double what I want to pay, taking doing my oil change from a money saving task to a loosing adventure ...

| strange AT behavior | 14 Sep 2004 02:17 GMT | 1 |
In the last several weeks I noticed some strange behavior while driving. It seems like the TC is unlocking for a brief moment. It repeats this maybe 3-6 times then stops for the rest of the journey. This has happened 3-4 times in last 2 weeks. It feels similar to the

| 2004 Forester Moonroof Question | 14 Sep 2004 01:01 GMT | 1 |
I have a 2004 Forester XS with a Moonroof. It's so huge and I love it! I've read somewhere that the glass window on the moonroof blocks UV. Is it true? Any comment would be appreciated.

| clock problem | 13 Sep 2004 16:46 GMT | 7 |
I drive a 99 Forrester (my wife drives a 98). A few weeks ago, the clock that is on the top and center of the windshield area (it's got the overhead lights and sunglasses storage bin there too) started to fail. It would go out, and then come back showing 12:00 and I'd reset it, ...
