As the 2002 Legacy GT is not factory prewired with a trailer tap, I'll
be 1/2 tapping wires this weekend.  I have a 6->4 wire converter /
isolation device, purchased for an Outback.  I'm going to cut off the
connector, pick out the leads and wire it in.

I've got a 97 impreza outback 2.2L, and in wet weather the engine seems to
half quit, then revive for a while, then start chugging again. Has anybody
experienced this, and if so, what did you do about it?

I decided I wanted a 2004 Forester, base model, AT, RED, with no options
except the center armrest extension, at invoice price minus the rebate
(~19,600.) I went to the dealer I'd been to a few times before.
Saturday, 7/31, last day of the month. Four PM, almost closing time.

I now have Impreza GX and it is pretty good for its class but cornering and
handling was little bit, how should I say it, null or less responsive.
Is there a way to improve this?

their clutch pedal foot when they change gear above 2500rpm on the
Normally Aspirated MY04 and MY05 Subaru Liberty 2.5i Manual ?
I can feel it when the clutch pedal is tarvelling towards the floor

Can someone coach me through removal and replacement of an interior rear

Here is some background.  The "auto-dimming" feature on the upgraded mirror
that came with my 2001 Forester has failed.  I was never very happy with it

Well, my wife finally got our 03 OBW into the dealer to get the AC
looked at. Turns out there was no refrigerant in the system; it was
totally dry. They leak-tested it twice and there are no leaks evident.
They can't figure out what happened to the refrigerant, and SOA

2002 WRX (USA)
I have ~54k miles on my wagon, and moved this June from the relatively
cool climate of Massachusetts to the desert of Arizona (high temp today
106F=41C).  I never used the air conditioner much before I moved here.

A friend of mine has the above car and when starting it cold the brake light on the dash comes on for approx. 8 miles or so and then goes out never to be seen again throughout the day.
Any ideas?
As far as I can tell the brake system seems to be ok. I am wondering if it might be ...

Tried to start my '92 subie legacy an hour ago and got an interesting sound.
No start and a 'skipping' sound from the engine.  I'm getting what sounds
like compression on at least one cylinder and nothing out of the ...

What does the "Manual" mode do on an automatic transmission 1990 Subaru
Legacy? There is no real functional description in the owner's manual. Is it
supposed to approximate a manual shift transmission?

Can anyone help me to disable the seat belt alarm on my 2004 liberty GT.
Also does anyone know how/if the trip computer display can be changed to read l/100km NOT km/L.

My 98 BSW (2.2L engine) has been annoying me with a "scratching
clutch".  I have over 162,000 kms (~100,000 miles) on it.  The clutch
engages and disengages smoothly, but the pedal feels "scratchy", and
makes noise.

My friend's 96 impreza has had some nasty squeeling coming from the AC
compressor area ever since he bought it a few months ago. The squealing is
there whether the AC is on or off. We did think it was just a bad belt, but
it really sounded more like a bad AC compressor pulley ...

       I would like to know the max tongue weight of a trailer hitch for my
2000 Outback Wagon. I am going to buy a trailer for my motorcycle, and I
would like to be well informed before I buy. Also, I anyone knows how much
the hitches cost that would be very helpful.
