Does Subaru make a 4-door pickup23 Oct 2004 13:00 GMT8
Besides the Baja?  I was watching a television
show the other night, filmed in Iceland, and I
could have sworn the supervisor drove around in
a full-sized crewcab Subaru pickup.  Does it
WRX Wagon or Forester XT?23 Oct 2004 01:40 GMT11
The time has come to get something new, and I have pretty much narrowed my
choices down to these two models.  I will probably go for the 5-speed in
either one of them.  I am sure that many folks have faced this same choice,
so what swayed you in either direction?

Speedometers 95-98 and 99 Legacy?21 Oct 2004 18:30 GMT2
Is a 95-98 Legacy speedometer interchangeable with a 99 Legacy please?
(I note the Haynes Manual is 95-98 only)
I can buy 95-98 cluster cheap on ebay but not 99
My 96 Legacy speedometer (working) has white pointer, my 99 (which I have
Squeaky window21 Oct 2004 13:38 GMT6
Right rear window on my '04 Forester (2 months old) SQUEAKS when it goes
up or down, about 75% of time. I called my service department, the woman
who answered the phone said something like, "Usually they just spray
some silicon on it. Try that and if it doesn't help, let us know."
How much boost on an STi?20 Oct 2004 21:29 GMT7
I have a new, US Spec '05 STi. The highest pressure I get on the
standard Subaru boost guage is 0.09MPa, which converts to about 14PSI.
Does this seem to be the correct amount of boost to you?

engine cooling problem20 Oct 2004 18:17 GMT3
My 1995 Subaru Legacy L has two engine cooling fans.  Should both of the
fans continually cycle on and off together very frequently?
Thanks,
John
What Kind of Screwdriver Needed To Remove Speakers20 Oct 2004 13:02 GMT2
I bought some new speakers to replace the crappy ones in my '04
Outback Wagon.  Crutchfield sent wiring harness adapters and
instructions so I'm confident I can replace the speakers.  They
mention a T15 Torx driver to remove screws holding the speakers in
Transmission20 Oct 2004 02:30 GMT2
After about 5 minutes it stops working engine is still running but
transmission is not making the car go.  You have to shut the car off and
wait a minute or so then it will work again for a minute or so
Heated Seats20 Oct 2004 01:03 GMT9
I have a 98 legacy gt, the seats have been replaced with outback manual
leather seats, i assume the seats are heated there's a 3 pin connector
coming from the back of the seat, if they are heated what do i need to
set them up?
tires leaking?19 Oct 2004 21:23 GMT8
I've got a 98 Outback and I'm having a continual problem with the tires
having a slow leak.  It's all 4 of them and they do it at random times.
I've had the wheels cleaned, valve stems replaced (that seemed to stop the
problem for about a month) but I can't stop them from losing air ...
2005 Forester XT: what accessories?19 Oct 2004 21:19 GMT5
I'm planning to get one of the subject vehicles with automatic and
cloth seats and wondered what if any accessories are worth
considering.
The console extension, while it looks ugly in the pictures, feels like
Engine fires in WRX's19 Oct 2004 11:10 GMT14
I posted about this before, but you didnt believe it (boneheads)
Go look up NHTSA complaint # 04V473000.
I quote " Cover bolts(the oil control valve) may not be sufficiently
tightened, resulting in engine fires when the leaking oil comes in contact
Fog Light Shroud Removal?19 Oct 2004 01:20 GMT1
I just bought RockBlocker yellow films for my foglights on my '05 WRX.
These fog lights are the smaller, oval ones.  The light is very very close
to the shroud around it so I'd like to get it off to better put the films
on, seeing as they are sticky and I don't wana get finger ...
Maintanance Schedule19 Oct 2004 00:55 GMT11
I got a new Suburu Outback and registed on mysubaru.com. Very cool site with
service reminders, etc.
Here is the kicker though:
1. Subary recommends service (oil) every 7500 miles
