Cut in leather seat, how to repair?15 Oct 2004 17:33 GMT3
I've got a small cut in my leather seat. It's about 1/2 long and it didn't
cut all the way through the
leather. I'd like to repair it before it gets worse. What kind of glue
should I use?

ABS brake bleed15 Oct 2004 08:53 GMT5
I have a 95 Legacy wagon AWD.   I recently bled the brakes the old
fashioned way (pump, hold and bleed).  When we were through the pedal
was nice and firm.  As soon as we started the car however, the pedal
went soft.  I'm guessing this must be something to do with the ABS

intermittent. Sometimes it stays at zero then springs into action.

04 OBW Battery Question14 Oct 2004 23:49 GMT7
I happened to look under the hood yesterday (I almost never do, as The car
gets to the dealer every two months for an oil change). Anyway, I noticed
that there has been some battery acid leekage. It looks to me like the acid
overflowed out of the top of the cells, as if someone ...

97 Bad Coil?13 Oct 2004 00:53 GMT6
We've had this happen a few times -- the car idles rough; like it's missing &
the "check engine" light comes on.  It's only happened when it's been raining or
we washed the car.
We took it to the repair shop & he said the code reader said "missing on #4"

This is OT, but it concerns the garage where my Subaru OBW sleeps. Close

caked up with a mixture of greases when I moved in 16 years ago. In the
should I buy a subaru?12 Oct 2004 06:50 GMT15
I've been thinking of getting rid of my 99 Camry because it needs
tires/shocks/struts/balljoints/tierod ends/clutch (I think the person who
owned it before drove it hard - I've only had it a year). It has 85K on
it.
