Speedometer needed31 Dec 2004 05:15 GMT1
I need a speedometer for a 99 Legacy, cheap but working!
It has RED pointer and part number is 85020AC330, (NOT white pointer
85020AC220, which is for pre-99 Legacy and not interchangeable. I can get
plenty of those on ebay!).

60000 belt replacement31 Dec 2004 01:25 GMT4
It was recommended  to me when having the timing belt replaced I should also
have all the other belts replaced at the same time. Is this the normal
precedure or just good preventive maintenance? It does add substantially to the
cost.

Has anyone else had a drastic MPG drop after a 15k service?
I was averaging 24/25 mpg and I am now getting less than 12 mpg. the service
said it was because of weather changes... seems like bs to me!

someone at AutoTap.  The messages were specific to the post with the
fault codes mentioned.  I dumped both message without paying too much
Any WRX/STI owners having wheel bearing problems?30 Dec 2004 21:24 GMT6
Just a quick straw poll on whether the bearings (mostly _rear_?) have
been having seemingly premature wear problems, if it was a common
problem or Urban Myth, did it affect 'normal' models as well/instead,
and what might be a retrofit answer if it turns out to be true.
2005 Outback: Cramped gas pedal?30 Dec 2004 19:51 GMT7
Is there anything especially cramped about the 2005 Outback's gas pedal
or is it typical of small cars with a transmission hump?

OutbackWagon  with jumpy transmission29 Dec 2004 12:37 GMT6
Whenever the temperature drops below 30 degrees F. or so, my Outback Wagon's
auto transmission behaves oddly the first time I run it in the morning.  It
runs normally as I leave the driveway and go down a hill. When I slow down
at the corner and then give it some gas to ...
