I bought a 96 WRX wagon ( Auto) there is a hold button behind the hand break i wanted to know what is that and wats the use of it. i drive it normaly on tarmic but some time takes it on gravel . Cheers

Subies of yesteryear in the U.S. used to have the lo-range 4wd and it was great. They did away with it after the dawn of the Legacy but I've heard other countries still have the option, is this true? If so why? Mike

Guys, I've bought my Subaru 2002 from nonSubaru dealer and dealer didnt give me maintenance history of the car. What is the best way to request this info? Go to any Subi dealership? Call to company?

1991 Legacy. Leaking oil from the RH cam cover. And also a lot of what sounds like tappet/follower noise. How big a job is it to adjust the valves? I'm not even sure if it's a single cam or a twin cammer.

Where can I find out exactly what kind of AWD the 2001 Outback has? and how it works? For example, what does it mean when the back left wheel is spinning and the other ones aren't doing a thing... etc....or the front right, etc.
