Hello, I am trying to find a factory service manual for a 1990 Subaru Legacy. I was wondering if anyone has a CD copy that they could send me? I found a factory service manual for the 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX but it isn?t quite what I need.

I have a 1987 DL Wagon, and the left low-beam circuit isn't working. When I turn the headlights on (low-beams), the left side low-beam unit, the white running light and the amber side light all don't work. However, the left turn signal works fine, and when I turn on the ...

I've got a MY00 Outback with about 52K miles. In the last few days the windshield defroster setting on the Vent Selector has blown my A/C fuse (15A at slot 17 in the under-dash fuse panel). When the fan is turned on (1 to 4) and the selector is turned to

| Noise on 05 Outback when slowing down at 20 mph | 10 Mar 2005 15:22 GMT | 2 |
I have a new Outback 3.0 VDC with 5k miles. Just in the last 2 days I have noticed this problem. When I slow from higher speeds, at approx. 20 mph, there is a single "clunk" noise. It seems pretty consistent, but sometimes worse than others.

| Forester disc brake retrofit possible? | 10 Mar 2005 11:34 GMT | 5 |
I have a 2000 Forester L, which came equipped with rear drum brakes. I hate rear drum brakes. I hate working on them and I don't think they are worth squat in braking power. The whole drum setup reminds me of something you'd see on a horse-drawn wagon.

| Blowing head gaskets related question | 09 Mar 2005 11:43 GMT | 1 |
My wife's car (early 2002 Impreza 2.5 TS) was affected by that “blowing head gaskets” recall. Once I got a notice from Subaru about year ago, I took the car to the service and they added that protecting fluid. At that time car has had about 50-55K. Now the odometer shows 70K ...

| Adjusting headlights (aiming) | 09 Mar 2005 06:59 GMT | 2 |
The Haynes manual I have for my 1987 DL Wagon says that if you adjust/aim the headlights yourself, it's only a "temporary" measure, and you should still have a shop adjust them. I'm curious as to why one would expect a shop to do a better job, assuming I

| 2005 Legacy SE | 09 Mar 2005 01:53 GMT | 10 |
On cold mornings (or at least what counts as cold down here in Atlanta), when I first start out I hear a fairly audible clicking sound that seems to come from the engine. As the engine warms up the clicking goes away. Is this anything I should be concerned about? I have just a ...
