I'm still car shopping for a good Subaru Outback Wagon 2001-2002 models and
I have found quite a few in the Northern VA region which look outstanding.
Although as we all know outward looks can be and most always are fooling.

My sisters knock sensor just thru a code for the knock sensor. Is it
safe for her to drive for a week till I can get to fixing it?

I have a new Outback 3.0 VDC with 5k miles.  Just in the last 2 days I have
noticed this problem.  When I slow from higher speeds, at approx. 20 mph,
there is a single "clunk" noise.  It seems pretty consistent, but sometimes
worse than others.

I have a 2000 Forester L, which came equipped with rear drum brakes.  I
hate rear drum brakes.  I hate working on them and I don't think they
are worth squat in braking power. The whole drum setup reminds me of
something you'd see on a horse-drawn wagon.
