| Rear Wiper Arm Removal | 15 Apr 2005 15:08 GMT | 1 |
I've experience the (fairly common) problem with the rear wiper on my 98 wagon. I understand it's common to have the bushing/shaft corrode enough so that the motor cannot turn the wiper, and that the simple fix is to enlarge the bore of the bearing slightly, and/or clean off

| Thinking of replacing Accord with Legacy | 14 Apr 2005 02:58 GMT | 6 |
Two issues with the Accord: 1. Wasn't able to go up the mountain to do skiing without chains. I thought front-wheel drive was good enough, but going upgrades meant that the weight of the car went to the back and the front slipped like crazy. :-( AWD

I recently took my '91 L-series (carbureted EA82) offroad in light sand. After driving for an hour in 4WD-hi (mostly 3rd and 4th) I stopped and noticed that the car was making a funny sound. It was sort of a hum or whirring sound coming from tthe engine compartment. I

| noise after exh install | 13 Apr 2005 19:44 GMT | 4 |
2005 WRX I went catless (PDE up-pipe, Invidia DP/Mid-Pipe, OEM muffler) and now the car makes a "whir" sound much like VW bug makes, between 2000 - 3500 RPM, under all load conditions. Is this right? Could a leak be causing this

| Stereo Repair advice needed | 13 Apr 2005 15:23 GMT | 27 |
I have a 1998 Outback Limited with 215,000 miles. Recently the CD player in the OEM stereo unit failed: it will feed a CD in, but doesn't seem to spin, and ejects the CD in about 10 seconds. The dealer said their only repair option is to have the entire unit "refurbished" at a ...

I have a 95 Impreza Outback LX with 113000 miles. When in Drive or Reverse and stopped with foot on brake, the car runs very rough. I took it to a mechanic and he suggested a tune-up to specifically check the timing, plugs and wires. Does this sound right?

Well, it finally happened! After 360,301 miles, my trusty '90 Loyale lost power, coughed a huge cloud of white smoke, gasped one last breath and died near the top of a long grade a coupla days ago. Considering the fact it wasn't particularly well cared for the first 209k miles of ...

I currently have the stock rims (13") on my 94 impreza with the recommended 165/80/13 tires. I want to replace them with 14" rims from a cavalier with 175/70/14. I wondering if this is possible or if the maximum size is the stock size.

I just bought a used 2000 Subaru Outback and I have started noticing a 'squeaking sound' when I am moving in first and second gears. I am not sure if the sound dissapears after that or I just dont hear it over the wind (since I have my windows down to try and hear the sound). I am
