I have a 2001 Impreza standard trans., and I understand that the rear
wheels are driven thru a "viscous coupling".  I would like to know just
how this works.  What I have read indicates that the coupling contains

My '03 Forester is rapidly approaching that Major service.
The dealer charges $599.99 (plus, plus I am sure).
How important is it really?  I am a very conservative driver,

WRX alignment28 May 2005 02:27 GMT1
I noticed that my rear left tire was having significant uneven wear
recently. I had the 2002 WRX aligned in Feb of this year and got it
rechecked at the dealer. They say it's "within specs." Is this normal?
Maybe I should rotate my tires more often. They're Kumho supras.

This occurs mostly in 4th or 5th gear with and without cruise on.

although the possibility of a Toyota-Fuji Heavy hybrid alliance ...

The past week or so, I got this strange odor in my 1998 Subaru Legacy. It is

this be a small exhaust leak somewhere? Also, I have ...
