how can I replace the air cleaner element of my Forester '99 (no turbo) ? After removing the bolt and the 3 clips of the air cleaner case, I can't turn this case far enough backwards. It touches the chassis. There's not enough space left to take out the old

Ok, so I've only put 2000 miles on this baby since November (I work too much). But in my defense, I ride a motorcycle - Kawasaki Mean Streak 1500 (with custom exhaust, air kit, PowerCommander). That'll put a smile on your face.

At 95K miles I smelled burning oil or rubber. The mechanic said it was cam seals and replaced 3 of the four and the timing belt at the same time.. About 4K miles later it happend again and he replaced the crank seal. 40, yes forty, miles later the engine stopped at 60MPH and blew
